About Ian Anthony

I am a sociologist dedicated to understanding how uncertainty shapes identity at the intersections of race, gender, religion, and spirituality. My research examines how social perceptions influence belonging, belief, and inequality. As an educator, I am committed to mentorship, critical inquiry, and creating inclusive learning environments that empower diverse students. I seek to contribute to institutions that value both high-level research and impactful teaching, believing that scholarship and education should work together to challenge assumptions and inspire meaningful social change.
